TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY RECEIVES MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE GRANT

Trinity was recently awarded a mini-grant from The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation. The grant proposal, “Doing a Lot with a Little”, highlighted the spectrum of science classes offered at Trinity, ranging from Earth Science (grade 6), Life Science (grade 7), Physical Science (grade 8), as well as Biology (grade 9), Chemistry (grade 10) and Anatomy/Physiology (Grade 11). Utilizing field trips and learning experiences, science teacher, Lisa Williamson, helps connect her students to individuals using applied science in various fields, the most valuable being the yearly seventh grade trip to the Cape Cod National Seashore.
The grant of $2032 will provide more equipment and resources for the school’s science lab such as: cordless rechargeable microscopes, electronic stem digital thermometers, and various kits for Physical Science, Physics, Life Science, Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, Electrical Circuits, Arbor Scientific Kits and more.
