Physical Education

The goals of Trinity Christian Academy’s physical education program are to

  • Improve each student's physical fitness level
  • Develop each student's understanding of their own fitness
  • Educate students as to how their behaviors impact their fitness

The physical education curriculum is designed to develop each of the ten generally recognized area of fitness (listed below) at a level that is appropriate to the age of the students.

  • Cardiovascular endurance
  • Respiratory endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Power
  • Coordination
  • Agility
  • Balance
  • Accuracy
  • Strength
  • Muscular endurance

Depending on the developmental level of the student, a different mix of training/practice in each of these areas is appropriate.

Grading is based on effort, improvement, and attitude at all levels.
