Before we share this week's upcoming activities, we ask for prayer for the victims and family members who have suffered injury and loss of life during the horrific attack that took place in Las Vegas. Thank you for lifting them up in your prayers.
Here is this Week's News:
HOOP-A-THON NEWS:  Congratulations to 3rd Grade for bringing in the most Hoop-A-Thon pledges!  Fourth Grade had to relinquish the Hoop-A-thon trophy to 3rd grade until the next contest, Friday, Oct. 13thTo date we have raised $4,042 with only 36 students participating out of 152.  Our goal of $35,000 is achievable with everyone's participation!
Congratulations to the following classes for great effort and for winning ice cream treats: 
Pre-K & K, 1-3 ~ 3rd grade* ~ ***3rd grade brought in the most pledges overall***
4th vs. 5th & 6th ~ 4th grade*
Jr. High vs. High School ~ Jr. High*
DIBELS Testing (K- 6th Grade) is this week.
Family Bowling Night is THIS Friday, Oct. 6th ~ Please turn in your reservation forms
Upper Level Progress Reports are sent home this Wednesday.
NO SCHOOL, MONDAY, Oct. 9th ~ Columbus Day.
PTF MEETING, Tuesday, October 10th at 8:00 AM in the Library.
PSAT Testing, Wednesday, October 11th.
Lower Level Progress Reports are sent home, Wednesday, October 11th.
Parent Prayer, Wednesday, October 11th at 8:00 A.M.
Chick-fil-A Order Forms and payment due Thursday, October 12th at 8:00 A.M. ~ $5.50 pp.
SAVE THE DATE ~ October 19th & October 20th Parent Teacher Conferences ~ 1/2 Day on the 19th, NO SCHOOL ON THE 20th.  (Reserve a spot for Extended Day on the 19th ~ NO EXTENDED DAY ON THE 20th)
