What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a process of self-study and analysis, a comparison to established standards, an assessment of a school's mission, a commitment to quality education, and a willingness to be accountable.  Each accrediting body requires re-evaluation after a pre-determined number of years to ensure that high standards continue to be met as the school grows and develops.Trinity recently completed an intensive self-study and applied for a ten year dual accreditation with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  A team of seven educators from other private schools conducted a three day visit on our campus to observe and interview our faculty, staff, students, parents and board in November 2011.   On February 7, 2012 we were notified that we were approved for accreditation for grades Pre-K-12 with NEASC.  We also received a ten year accreditation from ACSI on June 1, 2012.
