Over the next few weeks, we will be collecting gift-filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, sponsored by Samaritan's Purse, to send a message of hope to children in need around the world. If your family is interested in participating and would like to use one of the Samaritan Purse plastic boxes, please send a note in with your student and the office will make sure to send one home with them. TCA has 50 boxes, so it is first come, first served. A pamphlet has gone home with your student(s) via backpacks on 10/25/23 with instructions about how to prepare your shoebox gift along with a blank letter template for your child to fill out and share about where the shoebox came from.
Boxes may be dropped off in the lobby anytime starting Monday, October 30th and Wednesday, November 15th, at which time I will deliver them to the drop off location in Hyannis before they get shipped to the distribution center in North Carolina.
