Pick-up times for Lower Level Students (Pre-K through grade 5) will be pushed up by 5 minutes starting Monday, November 6. Lower School pickup will begin at 3:00 pm and run until 3:15 pm at which point dismissal will be over and students will head to Extended Day.
Please note, this change does NOT impact lower school students with upper school siblings or on morning drop-off off times either.
For parents that have already started slipping in on the early side and have been trying to get your child earlier, there will be absolutely no lower school dismissal at 2:55 or even 2:58. For this to work, the 3:00 pm dismissal time is going to be strictly followed for lower school students.
Also, please remember the tips we gave you at the beginning of the year:
- no early dismissals happen after 2:30 pm - we are already busy with dismissal
- pay attention by staying off your phone
- pull all the way forward to the white lines so cars behind you can squeeze in
- don't get out of your car during either pick-up or drop off
- don't put bags or other items in the trunk as the cars need to park closely together
- make sure your students are dressed appropriately for the elements
